Vinyl Production And Royalty Terms

| Vinyl Record Production and Royalties |
Content Owners receive royalties for all record sales. Each vinyl product carries with it a minimum retail price. Exact pricing and royalty splits depend on the project. Contact us to discuss! As a general rule, per-unit production costs are higher than a pressing run, and pricing will reflect the custom, personalized nature of each project. There are no costs to the Content Owner. This assumes all files are appropriately mastered for vinyl and no significant setup effort is required. If that is not the case, there may be setup costs. |
| Vinyl Exclusives' Responsibilities |
No minimum sales to achieve. Vinyl Exclusives sends sales reports and royalties quarterly. When a vinyl is ordered, we cut and ship it. Vinyl Exclusives takes on all cost of production, including product page hosting, payment processing, customer service, shipping, and other commercially standard eCommerce activities. |
| Content Owners' Rights and Responsibilities |
You own the rights to all your original Work. Vinyl Exclusives will never infringe on Content Owners' rights! This is not an exclusive agreement. We love working with labels and independent artists alike. We never want to restrict Content Owners' opportunities! Vinyl Exclusives may use short music clips, photos, and/or videos in promotional materials. The Content Owner will only sell audio that they have the rights to sell. Content Owners can remove their products from the Vinyl Exclusives platform at any time with 60 days' notice. |
| Timing |
Standard production time is 2-3 weeks; any variation in expected production timeframe will be communicated directly to the customer. Artists are responsible to produce any add-ons (e.g. Personal Message), and we ask that you provide them within two (2) weeks of request. |
